Sunghee Kim Acrylic I was born in Gwangju, southern part of Korea, where is called art city. International biennial art exhibition is held in here. Because of this environment i enjoyed art show on childhood. When I was a 4 years old, I had started for studying art. I won the prize many times during my student days. I had master degree from Hongik University, school of art, and studied advanced painting at University of Saint Mary. I am also art teacher in middle school and high school for 21 years. I usually use acrylic on canvas. My subject is leaves, butterfly and fish. It was long times focused plant image. Specially, I take their line and each leaves was changed different color and composed like a bouquet. Also I made a long and thin branch looks like human’s arm and tentacles. And butterfly and fish were lured into leaves. My goal is changing color make a changing real character. As you know cosmeticizing woman can look different beautifully and changing treatment. The image was personified and expressed my mind. I held solo show 6 times. Specially I held 2nd solo show at Carnegie art center. And I held a hundred times group show at Korea, Japan and US.
