Glass and Tile Mosaic

I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.  During time spent in Italy, I became enamored of the mosaic works in the ancient villas.  I later opened my studio, OPAL’S DAUGHTER’S DESIGNS, where I craft mosaics in the ancient Roman style known as opus sectile or inlay art. This style uses glass or stone cut into larger geometric or curvilinear pieces that correspond to the actual shapes of an image.  I am a member of the Society of American Mosaic Artists and my work has been featured on the HGTV and DIY networks, and the cover of Missouri Free Mason Magazine.
